ITINERARY 

SEPTEMBER 2 LAS VEGAS

Arrive for your own to the Hotel. The check in is at 3pm. The hotel is on the Strip.  You can take a taxi or a shuttle to the hotel.  You can arrive during the day. Accommodation for one night is included. Is important to arrive on September 2nd, because we leave next morning with our bus to Grand Canyon.

SEPTEMBER 3 – LAS VEGAS – GRAND CANYON

At Morning, departure to Grand Canyon. There are 13 Canyon Vistas overlooking Grand Canyon and we will stop and see the beauty of the Canyon on our drive. Mather point is one of the greatest overlooks of the Majestic Canyon.  Accommodation at hotel in Tusuyan Grand Canyon

SEPTEMBER 4 – GRAND CANYON – FULL DAY TOUR 

Full day to Visit Grand Canyon

SEPTEMBER 5 – GRAND CANYON – SEDONA

At morning departure to Sedona. Two hours drive and we arrive to SEDONA. Accommodation at the hotel.  In the afternoon we will visit Montezuma’s Castle National Monument. Dating to 1100 AD, Montezuma’s Castle is 5 stories tall with 60 rooms and is the home of the Ancestors of the Hopi clans and the Yavapai communities.

SEPTEMBER 6 – SEDONA

Breakfast at hotel. Today, Foster will taking you to visit the Vortexes of Sedona. In the afternoon you can visit the best stores in Sedona for healing stones and crystals, and spiritual books for inspiration.

SEPTEMBER 7 – SEDONA – HOPI CULTURAL CENTER

Breakfast at hotel. We depart to Hopi land, 2 hours and a half drive, to see Oraibi and Walpi, the oldest continuous settlements in North America, and we will eat blue corn bread and traditional Hopi food. The Grand Canyon is the Sipapu for the Hopi or their emergence place after the great floods and Earth deluge.  It is the gateway between the Underworld and this world. The Hopi Indians work with over 500 Ancestral spirits or Katsinas. You will see their representations on the Hopi Reservation and feel the deep solitude of this land. The Mayans are the Masters of Time and the Hopi are the Masters of Space. They are farmers who see the gift of Corn as a great blessing to give to another. Accommodation at Hopi Cultural Center.

SEPTEMBER 8 – HOPI CULTURAL CENTER

Breakfast at hotel.   We will visit the Second Mesa and First Mesa.

SEPTEMBER 9 – HOPI CULTURAL CENTRE – CANYON de CHELLY – MONUMENT VALLEY

Breakfast at hotel. We depart to Canyon De Chelly to walk in to the Canyon with a day guide, to see Spider Rock, the Kivas, and see this beautiful site even from the Rim with our bus as we overlook the incredible Pueblo and Navajo ancient ruins. Here we will meditate on the stones before we continue our drive to Navajo Land- Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. Accommodation at hotel.

SEPTEMBER 10 – MONUMENT VALLEY

Breakfast at hotel. Here we will stay overlooking the great vista- and take a tour of the giant rock formations, have the Navajo braid our hair, with a Navajo guide to show us the songs and dances of this cowboy nation.  The Navajo ride horses, and herd cattle and some Navajo still live in Monument Valley. We will visit Mystery Valley and the Garden of the Gods with our guide, and see the Great Buttes and learn about the Navajo hogans and their way of life.

SEPTEMBER 11 – MONUMENT VALLEY – MESA VERDE

Breakfast at hotel. Depart to Mesa Verde. (3 hours’ drive). Inhabited since 10,000 BC, Mesa Verde has pictographs and stunning ruins in easily accessible cliff tops we will have a guide as this is the largest excavation site in USA.  We will see Mesa Verde’s Cliff Palace, Spruce Tree House, the Sun Temple, Balcony house, Log house, and Chapin mesa with a stop at the visitors’ center. It is incredibly rich, and multi-layered with petroglyphs and beautiful walks and places to meditate for contemplation and spiritual sight. Accommodation at hotel

SEPTEMBER 12 – MESA VERDE

Breakfast at hotel. Full day to visit the rest of the Mesa Verde, resting, relaxing, and taking in the Four Corners region where 4 states converge. Inhabited since 6,000 BC, we will tour the major sites, the palaces, as many of the Indians from her later went to Santa Fe

SEPTEMBER 13 – MESA VERDE – CHACO CANYON – SANTA FE

Breakfast at hotel. We leave early morning for Chaco Canyon and the Great Kivas. This was the great ceremonial center for the Pueblo Indians with the largest Kivas and a true sacred site. You will walk among the site as we do a ceremony in the kiva with Kristos leading us. We will continue our drive to Santa Fe. Accommodation at hotel.

SEPTEMBER 14 – SANTA FE – TAOS PUEBLO

Breakfast at hotel. We journey to Taos Pueblo a World Heritage UNESCO site and is the most private and secretive of all the pueblos in New Mexico. Taos Mountain and Blue Lake is sacred to these Indians and remain pristine.

SEPTEMBER 15 – SANTA FE

Breakfast at hotel. At morning we visit Bandelier national monument, and perhaps sit in the kiva in the caves together and communing in the kiva. Frijole Canyon has petroglyphs, rock paintings, with over 10,000 years of human presence. This is our day to meditate, walk in nature, feel the Earth with Gratitude for this amazing journey to the Southwest and ancient cultures of the Indians who made it home. At afternoon we will enjoy Santa Fe city the famous spiral stairway of the Master Mason, the wild Site Santa Fe, the galleries of Canyon Road and the famous spiritual bookstore called the ARK. Santa Fe has amazing skies as it as 7,000 feet, with pueblo mud and hay architecture.

SEPTEMBER 16 – SANTA FE

Breakfast at hotel. And The End of the tour. Check out time 11 am. Only one transfer to Albuquerque airport is included. Please check time of your flight.

Everyone says goodbye and boards transportation home.  Booked flights leave this day as we leave full of life, full of the Indian Mind and way of life, having visited so many sacred places- and places of great beauty. We feel the land, the ancient tribes and we feel interconnected in the Dream Time. We have heard stories of the Indians, meditated in their sacred places, dance, sang, and realized that this was a journey to know our soul, to know who we are stripped to our essence, and we will never be the same.

VIAJES ALKIMISTA TOUR CONDITIONS

I. WHAT’S INCLUDED:

  • Prices includes 14 nights hotel accommodations from September 2nd to 16th (in single, double, triple or quadruple occupancy as your choice) at list hotels or similar, hotel taxes and service charges,
  • Breakfast is included in all cities except Las Vegas.
  • Transportation in private bus.

  • Special intensive seminars, meditations and healing experiences with Foster & Kristos, and more.

NOTE CONCERNING ROOMMATES: Please let us know if you would like us to match you with a roommate. While we cannot guarantee that we can find you a roommate, we usually are successful in doing so. In the event we are unable to find a roommate for you, you will be required to pay the single supplement cost.

II. NOT INCLUDED:

  • Air ticket transportation.
  • Gratuity for drivers and guides.
  • At the beginning of the tour in Las Vegas, the tour conductor will collect for each passenger USD 60 tips for each suitcase for all the hotels.
  • Visa and passport fees where required, airline baggage fees, meals not mentioned above, optional tours; foreign cities’ and countries’ departure taxes; airport/airline/government taxes, fees, fuel and other surcharges, tips to guides, and items of a personal nature such as laundry and beverages, air deviation fees for travel on other than group departure or return dates, where allowed by airlines (minimum $125 fee; the airline may also charge an additional fee of $100 or more), plus change fee where applicable ($100 per change made within 45 days of departure, where changes are possible), andother items not included above.

III. DEPOSIT & PAYMENT:

  • A USD 4.300 deposit secures your reservation. SPACE IS LIMITED.
  • Reservations are accepted on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS according to date of registration. Your registration will be held for seven calendar days pending receipt of your deposit by check, money order, or wire transfer, after which you will be sent a confirmation of receipt of your deposit. (If you wish to pay by wire transfer, please contact our office for wire details.) Final payment due by July 02, 2025. If the final payment is not received 10 days after the payment due date, and required documents are not returned on time, reservations are subject to a $100 late fee, and may be subject to cancellation.

NOTE ABOUT APPLICATION FORM:

In order to register for the tour and to coordinate your tour arrangements, you must complete the application form and make an advance payment of USD 1500 to Golden Hummingbird. Please send the Golden Hummingbird Application Form Southwest US Tour 2025 to office@goldenhummingbird.com with a copy to marcelap@viajesalkimista.com.

Viajes Alkimista will contact you by mail and send you the instructions for the payment of the remaining US$ 2800, to complete the payment of US$ 4300, which is required to coordinate the details of your trip and finalize your registration.

IV. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS:

  • Deposits are refundable, except for a $800 processing fee per person, if cancellation is received by June 01, 2025. Starting June 10, 2025, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total trip cost will apply. There are no refunds after July 3, 2025. The charge will be 100% of the total tour price. All cancellations must be in writing, and reach our office by the applicable cancellation date above.
  • Since the cancellation terms must be strictly applied no matter the reason for cancellation, travel insurance/trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended; this insurance includes coverage for cancellation in case of illness or death in the family. For International Travelers: Contact a local travel agency in your area for costs and details about the right travel insurance for you.
